HAMAD AL MAZROUEI

COO of ADGM and Managing Director of ADGM Academy

Hamad leads the ADGM Academy strategic and operational activities as the Managing Director. In addition to this role, Hamad oversees the strategic operations as Chief Operations Officer (COO) of ADGM.

He is an experienced professional with a 17 year proven track record of delivering a diverse range of Human Resources functions that support management in achieving its mandate. Prior to joining ADGM, Hamad led functions in The General Secretariats of the Executive Council and ADNOC.

Hamad Al Mazrouei is also a board member of the ADGM Academy.

MANSOOR JAFFAR

CEO of ADGM Academy

Mansoor leads the management team within ADGM Academy and is responsible for and oversees the development, growth and alignment of strategic direction of the Academy as Director of ADGM Academy.

An Engineer by profession with over two decades of experience in strategic management roles within public and private organisations, Mansoor joined ADGM from the Masdar Institute, where he was Director of Operations and Performance. Mansoor held senior positions and contributed to the establishment of successful ventures in Transport, Sustainable Energy, Management Consultancy and Telecommunications.

Mansoor Jaffar also serves as Board Secretary for ADGM Academy.

JASSIM AL MARZOOQI

Associate Director – Business Enablement Department

Jassim Al Marzooqi plays a lead role within Abu Dhabi Global Market Academy’s (ADGMA) management team ensuring alignment to the organization’s strategic direction as well as designing and launching programs that directly contribute towards the GDP growth of the emirate of Abu Dhabi and support the knowledge-based economy. His role as Associate Director, Business Enablement is to ensure continued growth and expansion of ADGMA as a leading institution from both an operational and tactical level.

Prior to joining ADGM, Jassim worked within the investments at Emirates Investment Authority’s Strategic Assets department with the objective to ensure superior, risk-adjusted returns to deliver long-term financial value to the UAE. Jassim played a lead role working with Strategic Assets holdings, improving their capabilities and guiding them through strategy definition and implementation. Within the organization, Jassim gained experience in Private Equity, Hedge Funds, and Real Estate & Infrastructure.

YASIN BHATTI

Associate Director – Talent & Knowledge Development

Yasin Bhatti leads the Talent and Knowledge Development Department in ADGM Academy and is responsible for developing, managing and launching the core products and services of ADGM Academy. Additionally, Yasin oversees all academic governance and accreditations relevant to the core business of ADGM Academy and ensures adherence to the highest international standards positioning ADGM Academy as a centre of excellence in education.

Yasin has over 25+ years of Corporate Sales and Learning and Development experience. He has worked for the big 3 Middle East Airlines in Senior Managerial roles. Overseeing a global sales force and working alongside some of the largest fortune 100 companies in the world. Yasin has various areas of expertise relevant to the department’s core business which includes course content design and development, vendor and client relationship management, and project management.

Yasin is a graduate in Business Management and is currently pursuing an MBA in HR Management.

RIMA SOUEIDAN

Associate Director – Projects & Outreach

Rima Soueidan joined ADGM Academy in December 2017 and currently leads the Projects, Outreach and Partnerships department. She has over 20 years of experience in L&D and Program Management with six years of direct training design and delivery. Rima cultivates trusting and productive relationships and her vast experience in client relationship management allows her to easily collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality and consistency in design and delivery of training programs.

Rima has various areas of expertise relevant to the department’s core business which includes project management, organizational development, and operational excellence.

Rima holds a Masters in Project Management from the George Washington University in Washington DC.
