ADGM Academy and TDE Digital Launch EnerTech Lab to Accelerate the UAE’s Energy Transition and Digital Transformation

ADGM Academy and TDE Digital have announced the launch of the EnerTech Lab, a pioneering initiative that aims to accelerate the UAE’s energy transition by advancing national talent development, driving applied research, and fostering innovation at the intersection of energy and digital technology.
Anchored within the ADGM Academy Tech Centre, the EnerTech Lab will serve as a world-class platform dedicated to strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a global hub for sustainable energy technologies. Through an integrated ecosystem of vocational and executive training, applied R&D, and innovation-led entrepreneurship, the Lab will create clear pathways for UAE Nationals to lead in both the energy and technology sectors.
Over the next five years, the initiative will support the creation of 1,000 high-impact job roles for UAE Nationals across the energy value chain. These opportunities will be enabled through an extensive suite of learning programmes—including executive certificates, short courses, and micro-credentials—alongside hackathons, ideation sprints, and thought-leadership events that connect innovators, regulators, and investors.
