Program Brief
This ADGM Academy programme focuses on how a bank’s sustainability strategy translates into action and success.
The first part of the day focuses on embedding sustainability into the bank’s strategy and considers how it will transform the banking industry business model, risks, opportunities and sustainability at the core of the bank’s strategy. The course further considers double materiality, the green taxonomy, Transition plans and operational challenges.
Participants will work through a specific case study on sustainability strategy in banking and work on their own action plan to take back to the bank.

Participants should have a solid background in banking and a foundational understanding of Environmental, Social and Governance risks as well as the objectives and basic practice of Sustainable Finance.
